Jon founded J. Musselman Construction, Inc. to elevate the standards of professionalism and integrity within the industry. A resident of the Charleston area since 1979, Jon’s coastal upbringing in Wake Island, Puerto Rico, and the Outer Banks shaped a perspective that he now applies to the regional landscape. After earning a Bachelor of Science in Construction Science and Management from Clemson University, he spent years honing his expertise at a large regional firm, overseeing complex developments such as hospitals, shopping centers, and office complexes before launching his own company in 2006.
Today, Jon leads J. Musselman Construction with a hands-on approach, emphasizing strong, positive relationships with every client and partner involved in a project. As a respected leader in the community, he takes pride in setting a standard for the next generation of builders by leading through example and mentorship. By combining deep technical knowledge with a commitment to character, Jon ensures the firm builds lasting trust alongside every structure.
Nick is a versatile construction professional with an extensive background in both the commercial and industrial sectors. After earning his degree in Construction Management from The Ohio State University, Nick began his career in Cincinnati working for a general contractor and developer before relocating to Charleston. His expertise spans a broad range of asset classes, including corporate office, healthcare, retail, and manufacturing. Since joining JMC in 2020, Nick has demonstrated exceptional estimating and project management capabilities across new builds, complex renovations, and specialized tenant upfits.
Olivia is a proven leader in managing complex builds with over a decade of expertise in commercial, institutional, and historic preservation construction. She excels in streamlining project lifecycles through precise budgeting, scheduling, and subcontractor coordination.
Known for her proactive communication and commitment to jobsite safety, Olivia has successfully delivered high-profile upfits for premier South Carolina institutions, including The Citadel, College of Charleston, and MUSC, as well as major projects for USC and Charleston County Parks & Recreation.
Robin Crider has 27 years of experience in Commercial Construction and has been with J. Musselman Construction since 2014. He has been based in the Charleston area and has previously worked for Ruscon Construction and Mashburn Construction. Robin also has experience in working as an owner’s representative on the Real Estate development side of the industry with companies such as The James Doran Company and Blue Current Development. He is primarily responsible for estimating, site coordination, management of budgets, schedules, and construction teams.
Robin has experience in building throughout the Tri-County area including: The French Quarter Inn, Ashley Oaks Plaza Redevelopment, Coastal Pediatrics Associates, 2067 Charlie Hall Blvd., Sherwin Williams, and numerous Roper St. Francis projects.
Robin also has experience in medical construction from stand-alone medical practices to working in active hospital settings. Two of his recent projects are Roper Hip & Knee in the Roper St. Francis Mount Pleasant Hospital and Roper St. Francis Physicians Partners at the new Berkley Medical Office Building campus.
