Jon Musselman is the President and founder of J. Musselman Construction, Inc. After spending his younger years in Wake Island, Puerto Rico and the Outer Banks, Jon has called the Charleston area home since 1979. Jon established J. Musselman Construction to not only meet but exceed the highest levels of professionalism and integrity in the industry.

As a graduate from Clemson University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Construction Science and Management, Jon worked on a variety of projects in the Southeast with a large regional construction firm before forming J. Musselman Construction, Inc. in 2006. Jon has displayed significant expertise in construction management skills by successfully overseeing numerous projects throughout the Southeast including hospitals, shopping centers, hotels, and office complexes.

Jon leads his team by example and places emphasis on developing a strong, positive rapport with all involved in each project.

Robin Crider has 27 years of experience in Commercial Construction and has been with J. Musselman Construction since 2014. He has been based in the Charleston area and has previously worked for Ruscon Construction and Mashburn Construction. Robin also has experience in working as an owner’s representative on the Real Estate development side of the industry with companies such as The James Doran Company and Blue Current Development. He is primarily responsible for estimating, site coordination, management of budgets, schedules, and construction teams.

Robin has experience in building throughout the Tri-County area including: The French Quarter Inn, Ashley Oaks Plaza Redevelopment, Coastal Pediatrics Associates, 2067 Charlie Hall Blvd., Sherwin Williams, and numerous Roper St. Francis projects.

Robin also has experience in medical construction from stand-alone medical practices to working in active hospital settings.  Two of his recent projects are Roper Hip & Knee in the Roper St. Francis Mount Pleasant Hospital and Roper St. Francis Physicians Partners at the new Berkley Medical Office Building campus.

Nick Burt has 5 years of experience in commercial and industrial construction. He relocated to the Charleston area from Cincinnati, Ohio after earning a degree in Construction Management from The Ohio State University. Nick started his career with Schumacher Dugan Construction, a general contractor and developer. Nick has experience in various commercial sectors including office space, healthcare, financial, retail, and food service. He also has experience in industrial warehouses, manufacturing plants, and maintenance facilities. He has been involved in ground up projects, remodels, building additions, and various tenant upfits.
